CVQO

CVQO a UK education charity approached Brand Picks to create a brochure for their up and coming qualifications. We created diagrams to effectively and clearly communicate the stages of the qualification breaking down the course information into digestible chunks. We have also supported CVQO with various communications for their organisation.

The brief

CVQO approached brand picks with a need to support them with their communications both internally and externally.The work has included course content and structure brochures that had a need for clarity, easy reading and a clear understanding of the course content. Working on a new BTEC Level 2 qualification the course comprised of 15 units with one mandatory unit that lead to a combination of other units. The challenge was to break this down and bring a simplicity to the heavy information within the content. In addition there was requirement for support documents showcasing the territories and regions where Senior business development, business development, lead teaching and learning managers are positioned within the UK. Brand Picks Ltd have also worked closely supporting CVQO on Safeguarding documents to build on their organisation’s internal and external comms.

The idea

Each project created for the CVQO brand required a deep understanding of the business and its key processes. The course brochure had a need for understanding the course structure that in turn led to a solution on how to break the information down for the students clearly using infographics. Infographics were created that helped to explain and support the course, these were also used elsewhere in their promotional marketing to give an understanding to the course structure. For their communicating of territories throughout the UK a map was created on brand including all of the key information with room for expansion and updates where required. We have continued to support CVQO with documents such as their safeguarding concerns brochures.

Challenge 1

Support CVQO with their communications both internally and externally including course content and structure brochures that have a need for clarity, easy reading and a clear understanding of the course content.

Challenge 2

Working on the new BTEC Level 2 qualification the course of 15 units with one mandatory unit lead to the challenge of breaking down and bringing simplicity to the heavy information within the content.

Challenge 3

Support for a territory map communicating the key areas within the UK that showcase where Senior business development, business development, lead teaching and learning managers are positioned within the UK. Safeguarding documents that are clear, concise and dial into the important details in an emergency.
Learn and gain an understanding of the course, its content and how best to build on the information clearly.
Create a series of design layouts to find a solution to the content and how best to express the units within the course using infographics where required.
Creation of infographics and a graphic map detailing every region as accurately as possible.
Finalise all documents for print, finalise key information and provide ongoing support where needed.
Finalise all artwork files and documentation. Sign off on the project deliverables and provide further support where required.
